New Richmond- Miss Inez E. Stephenson, 78, a retired Linden school teacher, died at 6:35 p.m. Thursday in Mulberry Lutheran Home. She had been in failing health and a resident of the home for two years. A first grade teacher, she taught at Linden from 1939 until retiring in 1972. Born April 13, 1906 near Kirkpatrick in Tippecanoe County, she lived in New Richmond most of her life. She was a graduate of New Richmond HS and Danville Central Normal College. Miss Stephenson was a member of Linden Baptist Church and Retired Teachers Association. Surviving is a brother, Eugene M. Stephenson of Lafayette.
